Ms. Maggie Chan graduated from the Faculty of Law of The University of Hong Kong in 1991, was awarded the Medal of Honour by the Government of HKSAR in 2012, conferred with a Honorary Fellow by City University of Hong Kong in 2013, appointed a Justice of the Peace by the Government of HKSAR in 2015, elected as the HKSAR Deputy to 13th and 14th NPC in 2017 and 2022 respectively, All-China Women's Federation Executive Committee Member since 2018, President of the 7th term of Office for All-China Women’s Federation Hong Kong Delegates Association Ltd in 2021, 7th and 8th HKSAR Legislative Councillor in 2021 and 2025 respectively. Ms. Chan has been serving as the Founding President of Hong Kong SAMLAW since 2013. Ms. Chan is one of the first batch of GBA lawyers and practising in Sino-Win Law Firm in Guangdong. Ms. Chan currently also serves as independent non-executive directors of several listed companies in Hong Kong, taking part in board decision-making, corporate governance, strategic development, and risk management. She has extensive experience in addressing the challenges of companies going global and expanding international business.
